The
University of Colorado Chemical Inventory Management System is a compilation
of chemical inventories from the research laboratories and maintenance
shops on the CU Boulder campus. It also provides safety information and
direct links to MSDS. Utilizing a user-friendly format and direct links
for chemical safety information provided in the system, research personnel
are able to actively maintain their chemical inventories while accessing
information about the hazards of each of their chemicals. Maintaining
active inventories will provides reasonable account of what chemicals
are actually in the laboratories at any given time. This system becomes
a valuable tool in emergency response situations.
